Young Couple and Mural in Tehran

So I will try to put some pictures of Tehran, where I am currently living. Here is a typical one, those beautiful murals being everywhere in Tehran. I think (but I am not certain since he should normally wear a black turban, signifying that he is a direct descendant of the Prophet) that this one represents the second Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who’s been holding the position since the death of Ruhollah Khomeini in 1989.

PS: this of course is not a political blog, and opinionated comments should be avoided here.

A scene that seems waiting for an intriguing story to spin! Love the “wall” textures behind the couple and the sense of the mural hovering over them! Fascinating photo!

Love the contrasts – authority and young love, mural color/black and grays.
