So we just got into Bali yesterday, but it turns out I am moving to Iran for some time today, and I am not sure I will be able to update this blog from there. Hopefully I will, but in case I don’t I wanted to post this portrait I particularly liked and leave you guys with it till I come back. It was taken in Can Tho, in the heart of the Mekong delta in Vietnam.

I like this photo. Unfortunately, the wife is out of focus.
Like it too, and the fact that the woman is slightly out of focus contributes -imho-, to it.
Though, the HDR-style treatment is pushed too far to me…
well at least its a photo that generates discussions! I would agree with you Et’, I might have processed it a bit too much, more precisely I believe I overdid it on the fill light. As for the woman I think the out of focus is OK here, gives some depth to the shot. In any case thanks to you both for the comments and critiques!
Nice. Contrast and exposure is great. I almost has an HDR yet natural look.
